How to clean the sponge pillow?
Cleaning a sponge pillow is important to maintain its cleanliness and longevity. Here are the steps to clean a sponge pillow:
1.Remove the pillowcase and any other covers or protectors.
2.Check the care label for any specific cleaning instructions. Most sponge pillows can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle with warm water and mild detergent.
3.If the pillow is heavily soiled or has any stains, you may need to spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild detergent before washing it.
4.Rinse the pillow thoroughly with warm water to remove all soap residues.
5.Gently squeeze out any excess water from the pillow, being careful not to twist or wring it.
6.Allow the pillow to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area, preferably in direct sunlight.
Note that sponge pillows should not be washed in hot water or put in the dryer as this can damage the material and cause it to lose its shape. It's also recommended to clean sponge pillows every 3-6 months, depending on usage and level of soiling.
